Come learn to make your own bath products, in one of our fun classes, taught by Michelle Kwiatkowski, founder of Wild Rose Soap Company. Michelle is a third generation soap maker. Trained as a registered nurse, she values soap making as both a stress relieving hobby and also great for your health (all natural, no chemicals, and the benefits of aromatherapy). Classes will be held in historic Shepherdstown, West Virginia, the oldest tffown in the state.We are 5 minutes from Antietam, so come on out for a fun day of soap making, antique shopping, and more!
Beginner's Cold Process Soap Class: Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 11am (4 spots available)
Have you ever wanted to learn to make natural cold process soap from scratch? In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of Cold Process Soap Making. We will make a batch of soap using olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, cocoa butter, and lye. We’ll add Essential Oils and herbs to make a beautiful natural soap. Each student will take home 6 bars of handmade soap. Students will receive safety tips, recipes, and resources to help the beginning soap-maker. Cost: $90 (approximately 2 hours in length) Location: Harpers Ferry, WV (Bring a friend and save $15 each off registration) Total due day of class. Pre-registration fee refundable in case of emergency. Ages 15 and older.
